Finally done! Upgraded Ak-47
Well at first it was simply upgrading my TM AK-47 with a new 6.03 tightbore, shims and bushings. Then it turned out I would add systema V3 cylindder head, systema V3 bearing piston head, and PPA 110 spring! From help from you guys and a local vet, I got er up and running after 2 weeks of wating for parts, and a few mechbox issues that were resolved promptly thanks to Zone 69 !This is my first upgraded gun and what a difference from stock. Im pretty stoked and cant wait to game it. Thanks again to those who helped me get this done.
I havnt been able to chrono it, but I think its somewhere near 380 fps. I have consistent accuracy at 150ft.

Nice to hear and congratz!
Waiting is such a bitch, but when the prject is done, it was worth it huh? It's always nice to get a helping hand from fellow airsofters. |

totally man, I thought i had the gears shimmed right, and oh fuck it would've been a disaster if Zone didnt step in and teach me. Waiting was the hardest part. I realized im addicted to airsoft.

wow i think youre the first person whos ak ive seen that has that type of rail mount on it
i have one for on my ak but i took it off cuz i didnt like it. always liked the plain black furniture look on the ak's though..... is that a "made in" logo underneath the selector lever? might wanna get a metal reciever for that hmm.. now come to think of it have you done any external upgrades at all yet?

Yah, Im not a big fan on optics for the AK, but having the RDS helps with the aim. I wear a JT camo full coverage mask cuz i got $8,000 done to my teeth so having the RDS makes it easier to aim, instead of the iron sights. But cosmetically I love the look of simple AK. Nice and clean.

who cares what it looks like as long as it shoots good.
open the box again and take a pic as everything flies out. airsoft version of the "brass in the air" shot.

as for external, Ive just Kryloned the faux wood to a satin black. 6 coats. I like it. But wouldnt mind a metal body someday.
