holosight on P90
How would a holosight on a P90 look? To clarify: I am talking about the smallest version.
I just wanted to ask the public what they think. |

That's really a personal taste thing. I think it looks very functional, even though I'm not a big P90 person.

Yeah. I am looking into getting a P90 as well as a holo sight. I just wanted to ask people if they liked it.

It's a very personal preference. You're asking about how it looks rather than how it performs.
From a performance perspective, a real holosight is fantastic. It projects the image in such a way that it focuses about 30ft out - your eyes focus down range rather than at the plane of the sight itself. |

Why not get the version with the built in reddot?

Seen a few pics on Arnies either in the P90 thread or the EOTech thread. Do some searches on US Secret Service.

Yes. I like the green color the best as well as how compact they are. I would get the smallest one though.

Hollowsight and P90 = the best.
A P90 is so short and manuverable, you need a good aiming device with the largest FOV possible. The hollowsight is the best of all, since the sight is "projected" in front of you and float in thin air. A red dot, you have to be kinda centered with the eye peice to see the aiming dot. My P90 have an Ampoint on it and it work great. It's just a bit big and obstructive in my FOV.

OK. I was looking for feedback like this. I think I am going to order one with my P90 when I get that this fall.

Just don't be fooled by the cheap copy that are not holographic. They are just a regular reddot in a holosight body. 2 completely different thing.
If you never saw how the real thing work, go to a hunting store and hask to try the bushnell holosight (same thing as the Eotech holosight). You'll see what the holographic tech is all about. IMO, it's worth the price difference.
