WW1 game coming up here in Edmonton...
Here is what I have so far. I know it is totally way off from being exact, but I think it will look pretty sweet when the time comes. I have some web gear and more little things coming in the mail.
Suggestions are welcome! I am also in the process of ghetto rigging my MP5SD6 to look more like a larger WW1 machine gun, heh. Jeff

Heh, nope. I am the machine gunner, with my MP5, and will have a pistol and a spring shottie as backups. Everyone else will just be using semi-auto.

Yes, I will not be wearing it like that during the game. I like my eyes!

What would make this perfect (depending on what you want to look like):
- Wool puttees (long type, to the knee) - Cheapo Sam Browne (for officers.. goes over the great coat/trench coat) - Revolver or Colt 1911 (Americans were issued the 1911. Canadians too, however only 1st Contingent/1st Division in 1914/15...chambered to .455) - Since you've got a WW2 Canadian gas mask (similar to WW1) you can use the WW2 Brit/Canadian bag (look alot like WW1 bags) and it'll fit in perfectly. Goes over the chest, relatively easy to find, big square thing. - Pair of ankle boots and you're good to go! Cheers! |

Bought it years ago at an antique store. I think it is stamped 1942.

Same with my gas mask. It's stamped 1942 and the canister is stamped 1943.
