Fitting AK Real Steel parts
WOndering if anyone as managed to fit RS parts in their AKs?
Mostly thinking about the pistol grip but any other informations would be welcomed. Thank

Top dust covers dont fit... they are to short. few mm.

Real steel pistol grips also will not fit. They are too thin.
Real steel that works: Side rails Gas blocks (Boring out required) Sight blocks (Boring out required) Wood grips/stocks (Modding required) And, well thats pretty much it on an AK. Also getting real parts can be hard since the real steel AK's are banned weapons here. I once had wood grips seized because the package said "AK47" on it. |

The machinery cover? Like, the upper? What airsoft AK were you trying it on? Where was the cover manufactured?

Even when extended it's not a perfect fit, as it's longer in the rear area, not the front. So you end up with a gap in the rear of the safety (when the safety is on of course). Most airsoft AK AEGs use the same length top cover. I believe the ICS is about a mm longer.
