MP5 RAS Battery

Hi,

What would be the best battery (non lipo) that would fit in the front of a MP5 RAS?

I m thinking 8.4v - 1200 amp mini? With a weird shape.

Thanks,

Bong

Twin type. 9.6v 2000mah. While on topic, can this one hold a twin type mini?

I'm pretty sure that type wont hold a battery. I've got the g&g ras. It holds a 9.6 mini battery.

That won't hold a battery, not even the stick kinds.

What battery is the JG MP5 RAS with sliding stock using?

It would have to be in the RAS up front?

From what i've seen, the JG has a mini battery in the front vertical foregrip.

If you get the A4 stock, then you can rewire the battery to the stock. Without the front grip, you cannot store the battery elsewhere. I've done a mod to mine, looks a bit clean, will post pics later. I zipped tied the battery horizontally under the bottom rail and connected. And when the battery dies, unplug and charge away. What would suck is in a game where you play, changing the battery when it dies is a bitch.

Here's my thread revival of the day...

Does anybody knows if there's a Li-Po/Li-Ion battery that fits inside the CYMA RAS? (as linked by BoB: http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?products_id=1061)

I was thinking more of a Li-Ion to get a 7.4v so it doesn't shredd my TM gearbox. The CYMA RAS has been installed on a JG MP5A5, and I'd like to stay away from any kind of battery box as much as possible.

I've tried with this
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/bb-batter...m-battery.html
and one of the stick of http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/bb-batter...rane-type.html (to emulate http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/bb-batter...-ak-stick.html) but none has fit.

I was thinking of (maybe) this one: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/bb-batter...ery-twins.html, where one of the sticks could fit on each side of the RAS. The problem, however, is that they are 11.1v and they would probably kill my stock TM gearbox (the original JG one had several broken parts, so it was simpler and cheaper to replace it completely) rather quickly.

there is not enough room in the ras to put any battery... you must use the shitty grip-battery holder, i use either a 8.4v 1500 mini battery or this,... http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=7362

edit after mesuring mine with a caliper MAYBE the one you linked will fit but it will be tight as hell and a pin in the ass to install. and 11.1v wont shred your mechbox if she is well built... i runned a 11.1v lipo on kracken mechboxes without a problem

other option is a full stock (witch i'm thinking about because i'm tired of dissasembling the whole front end to remove the battery)

Alright. I might take the risk to buy it, and just file a bit if it's too tight...
But I don't really like the full stock look, and the grip is even worse :s (and I love so much the sliding stock + Aimpoint CompM2 + M900AB )

I've just thought about it, maybe a stick type could fit into a folding stock? Else I'll have a look into R/C LiPos... There's probably a bigger choice. They don't usually use Tamiya connectors, but it isn't a thing too hard to change!

As for the mechbox, mine is a stock TM one. I'm usually quite conservative with my ammo, so I hope it wouldn't be too bad.
