NineBall SAS kit + AS BBC/ Loading nozzle = odd issue.
Okay, so, I just kitted out my MRP (hicapa) with an Airsoft Surgeon Blow-Back Chamber, and a Guarder loading nozzle.
Now, before I had these bits installed, the SAS kit would meld in nicely with the (stock) slide. However, after the bits were dropped in, it developed a little gap. Like, 1.5 mm- if that. But still, it's enough to interrupt the lines of the pistol. So, does anyone know what the problem is? Perhaps the BBC isn't installed incorrectly (doubtful) ? .... PICS : |

what slide are you using? For me to put the BBU in properly(to get the screwhole to line up) I need to drop it in, and push it back a little. I am using a SD slide.
Also does it shoot ok? As I've heard that Guarder's nozzle fits very loosely on the AS BBU piston, maybe the nozzle is sitting funny at full battery position? Last edited by RacingManiac; April 21st, 2008 at 16:46.. |

I think the Guarder unit is the problem. Damnit, I don't know why I even bothered with that POS. And the BBC is, infact, seated correctly ... (The AS BBC is very nice btw. Highly recommended) |

Anyone know where to get the AS BBC? Redwolf is already sold out.

Someone on Airsoft-barracks.com were selling his, though that was quite a while back....
I'd imagine it'll get restocked soon as looking at how much AS stuff are coming out now... BTW kos, I recommand getting a SD POM nozzle and SD piston set, and take the o-ring off the SD piston to use on the AS piston. The AS o-ring is a bit small(might fit the best with stock nozzle, but we all know the problem with that), so it doesn't seal well with Guarder or SD nozzle...
