Very cool, are those the sights that came with the slide?

Slides don't usually come with sights.

stock sights for sure....
Are you still running the stock outer barrel? If you buy a SD Hi-Capa chamber I can sell you a tapered outerbarrel for cheap I'd probably go with sliver mag release, controls and trigger(red would be cool though) as well, to go with that 2 tone look. |

I wish someone made a nice silver beavertail safety... when it's polished, the one I stripped looks striking, but it tarnishes quickly and easily.
Other than that, nice looking gun. I love Hi-Capas... I love seeing all the builds. Every time I see them, I start getting an itch to build more. In fact, I just started my 5th Hi-Capa project... |

Heh Illusion, every one of your builds in turn makes me want to build another lol. Builders' paradise, or an endless cycle of evil?

a little of column A and a little of column B....
BTW, since I am not in the market for one, Airsoft Global have the SD Silver Kimber slide available...this is the one with the proper sight attached too.... BTW, the answer to Illusion's need is a Hi-Capa 4.3 Dual Stainless parts gun....strip the grip safety and control from it... Last edited by RacingManiac; April 7th, 2008 at 20:35.. |

The stock 5.1 grip is the only thing that turns me off the hi-capa series.
Lucky for me the TK grip is AWESOMENESS in a box. |

agreed, though it makes for a poor race-pisol project without magwell....

Do 1911 beavertails fit Hi-Capas? |

I'd like to know too....my repainting of the Hi-Capa beavertail haven't been too successful...

Anybody have both TM 1911 and Hi-Capa lying around and can check to see if beavertails are interchangeable?

Vice versa works, internally. The only reason it wouldn't work is because of the cutout on the beavertail for the frame. That being said, the cutout for the frame area on the Nova beavertail looks exactly the same as a hi-capa beavertail.
