Over Seas Customs Question
I've ordered a fair bit of stuff from over seas over the past while & this is the first time I've ever had an supplier on ebay ask for my phone number for the purposes (they say) of customs.
I ordered a PEQ battery box & vertical grip, so these shouldn't be a customs problem, but who knows these days... Anyone else ever been asked for their phone number from a supplier before? Should I give it to them? The supplier in question is known as "Sunarmairsoft". Curious. |

Yes, I ordered from them just a few days ago.
They asked me for my phone # too, it arrived today and it's awesome. |

I think they're coming onto you!
No but seriously it's most likely to do with the freight company they ship with, they'll most likely want that as contact info for the consingee. |

I've had that once or twice too from overseas, as well as North America. I think like Danke said its likely the shipping company that needs it.

If there's signature requirement and/or insurance on the package they need the phone number in case they need to reach you, should anything happen. (package gets lost, customs holds/seizes the shipment, etc.etc.)

The only weird question I ever got was from Den Trinity, I was ordering some mags for my old CA33E and they sent me an email asking for my firearms licence number, I canceled that order fast and have never shopped with them since.
