New load out needed

K guys.........need a little assistance here. I have a 800-1000 dollar budget for my loadout. I've been looking through a number of different sites and can't seem to put together a loadout that is up to par with many that i have seen on here. I want to use a drop down for my pistol (KJW sigp229) so i'll need a couple mag pouches and my primary is a VFC SCAR so i'll need a few mag pouches for that on my rig as well. I wanted to go with ACU but to be completely honest i don't know what goes with what when i'm on the sites. If anyone is bored and feels like helping me put together a nice loadout feel free to offer some advice. I'm sure there must be sites that have pre made load outs or something right? I only ask for help because i don't want to spend a sizable ammount of money and end up being mix matched.

Thanks for any help!
Ryan

$1000 for kit? You're good to go, bud. You can get a pretty highspeed setup for that kind of investment.

For $320, every pouch you could ever need and a solid base to carry it on. For your pistol, look for a Safariland 6005 or 6005, new will run you between $150-$200, best holster on the market.

My opinion, stay away from matching your kit to your uni. Looks noobish to me. Coyote Tan all the way, and you can wear it with anything.

You'll have to decide what "look" you're going for in the first place. Then it'll be easier to narrow down your choices as far as kit goes. As you can see there's a shit-ton of kit variation to suit every mission. If you're not trying to replicate a certain look, that's cool too. But specify what terrain will you be playing in, what equipment you plan to carry etc.

get real stuff, replica stuff doesnt cut it in my mind, that in mind your 1000 budget might not be enuff.

eagle gear is the best you can get. in my eyes

as well you havew to decide what you want to be. unless your not into impressions. and if you are then do it right.

BlaH! Acu! >.< dont even get me started.

But yea...it seriously depends on what terrain youre gonna be playing in, what country/organization you want to copy. I run mismatched....I rock cadpat with a wasatch vest. I love my wasatch <3. Im personally thinking of going to Desert Fleck, for spring/autumn at least.

In all honesty the way i see it, who cares about matching?(unless youre doing an impression) otherwise we'd all be running around with M4s + Marpat/cadpat or AKs and flora ...etc etc.

1000$ and you want ACU? lol
Gear alone has cost me more than that already, the big downside to ACU is if you don't get real ACU, you might as well wear winter whites! So don't buy anything from Rothco lol
The best places I've seen for ACU so far are...
www.blackhawk.com
www.lapolicegear.com
http://stores.ebay.com/TACTICAL-ADVANTAGE-INC (or www.entrygear.com)
A really good vest to get is the 'FLC', it's the current issue vest, lots of molle on the front and it's rucksack friendly! Not to expensive either.
Big thing to watchout for is that blackhawk STRIKE (gen4 molle) pouches work on molle II systems, molle II systems sometimes dont work very well on STRIKE systems.

Where will you be playing will dictate what boots are best suited to you. Assault boots if you're playing in an urban setting, jungle boots in a woodland setting. I've found Belleville boots very comfortable and good bang for the buck. I've been wearing Matterhorns for the past 3 months and love them.

Did you choose a different camo? Cause you can't use OD with acu, only foliage and more acu lol

Covers your radio, pistol (if you don't mind having your pistol on your rig), large amount of mags able to be carried, both for your SCAR and your pistol mags. And roughly $100! What more could you ask for?

Incidentally, many veteran players (such as Mr. Morbius above) have this rig in khaki, and even though it's not their only rig, they still love it's simplicity. I've been using mine all year and won't change over to anything else. (just dont expect to find the classified section or the news in this rig (aka. ACU), unless you buy from SDK and get the chest rig that doesn't have the long side pouches on it, they have three rows of PALS webbing in their place.)

vs.

yea lol kinda caught onto that a few mins ago lol. I realy like the look of ARPAT, Just not sure where to buy my uniform from as well as boots and gloves. I want everything to match nicely. From what i understand, one piece uniforms are the best, correct?
