Any increase in noise is going to come from the gearbox or motor, and none of those noises sound anything like a gun.
Real guns are louder, much louder, but good luck playing an airsoft game with them. In other words, no, nothing I've ever heard of.

You can scream 'POW! POW! POW!' When you shoot...

Aluminum piston head will make your gun louder. By talking about a barrel people probably meant shortening your barrel. Guns with short barrels produce more noise. At least ones I've used.

You can hire a bum to run around with you and fire two cap pistols really quickly every time you fire.

If you're using a MOSFET switch in your gun, you could get a custom one with a Bluetooth radio and have it transmit a signal to a PDA or similar, you could store on your gear or in your backpack. With an MP3 or WAV sample of the sound you want your gun to have, you could play that and send it to a speaker connected to the headphone jack. You'd need amplified speakers, so something battery powered or something, but you would be able to adjust the volume to whatever you desire.

Bums are cheaper, simplier, require less work and are less likely to break down.

For shotguns: "POW! chik chik POW! chik chik (pumping sound)"
"RATATATA RATATATA" Is more like machine guns but I like it. Maybe I should try this... |

I slapped an aluminum systema piston head with systema cylinder head and didnt really notice much of a noise/shot sound increase.

Ok I'll just mention the simplle way to make your gun MUCH louder.
Put a silencer on it, but remove the inserts and the front end cap from it. Voila, makes a nice little popping sound. To anyone with a can on their gun, give it a try. |
