TM Mk23
So I was reading up on the NBB Mk23 from TM, when I came across the fact that TM also made a springer Mk23 a while back. Apparently it was one of the best springer pistols TM ever made, and is incredibly powerful. Anyone have any experience with it?

Well heres an arnies review.
http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/?filn...er_review2.htm If the springer mk23 is anything like its gas brother, then the gun is going to be bloody nail driver, accurate, good power and just plain loads of sexy.

Hmmm, wouldn't be a new sidearm, but it would make a nice display piece.

I've known a couple guys that have owned one, and they loved it for those exact reasons. In my first year of airsoft, there was a guy with just bad luck as far as guns go, went by the name Naga (but people called him Jesus because of his long hair), his TM G36 went down at one point, so he had to stop using it, the plastic feedramp of his KSC Glock 18 busted on him, so all he had to finish the year off was his TM MK23 springer. He went the last couple games with that, literally running around the field doing 'hit & run' tactics, wearing only cadpat BDUs and only thing other than the springer was a small bag of 0.25g BBs. I swear the guy was good at sneaking around ambushing people, he'd get 6-8 kills per day with the thing. Never saw nor heard of him after 2004. |

I carry a glock springer with a pink slide and mag as a back up back up/ humiliation weapon. Springers have their place on the field as well.

Of course they do, espeiclaly in coler weather games. I've used my TM G17 for a couple games before I screwed the hop up rubber from cleaning the barrel. Better humiliation guns are made by Crosman (I have a black with grey slide P99 I bought four years ago, best flyswatter I've ever had......... within 6ft using 0.20g BBs. Chronied it once with 0.20g, got 150fps. My Glock was higher at 175-180fps.)

Crony the glock at about 170 with a .20 its decent, and well the feeling that you were shot by someone using glock with a pink slide...ehh kinda makes you feel dirty. The feeling that you shot someone with a glock with a pink slide, makes you feel dirty in that other way.

Too bad that bastard child G36C that I got to paint is so freaking large...it would be awsome to swap over to that to take someone out. "You got pinged by a crap ass springer which isn't even in proportion!"
EDIT: Does TM still produce this MK23? |

I've chronied my hand over a chrony F1 before, fastest I got was about 43fps. Bet your gun would shoot faster than that.

I got a TM Mk23 socom that I would be willing to part with if your interested for $80. Bought it a few months ago new and never used it. Found I prefer a TM shotty on my back as a back up. Plus a shotty looks cooler.

I've actually been wanting a TM MK23 for the past 8 months or so, ended up buying a KSC Mk23 GBB that I love (especially with the mag it came with, drop the hammer with the suppressor on and it shoots quiet and VERY far, have to rack the slide again to chamber a round to fire again, the new mag I have fires harder).
I'll take it if it's available in the next couple weeks (can put a $40 down payment on it now if you don't sell outright in the next day or so, rest of the cash in two weeks). |
