I purchased a spear fleece jacket from Armyissue about a month ago to go under my ACU gortex . Its real issue ,and is extremly warm he is selling them for $34.00 used. What a great deal !And he still has about a half a dozen left.

Isn't the SPEAR fleece used by Delta and Army Special Force?

SPEAR stands for Special Operations Personal Equipment Advanced Requirements. It's used by the entire SOF community. While newer clothing items are made available each day for these folks, many still have these issued items and use them frequently.

They are a good piece of kit. I own a SPEAR fleece myself. They're not just black either. I understand the USMC versions also come in coyote brown.

The tag inside says Shirt, Cold ,Weather, Synthetic, Fleece SPO100-03-D-EB87 , NSN#8415-01-461-8337
