My Collection (So Far)

Hey guys, just figured it was about time to put up a few photo's of my collection now that she's kinda gettin' a little bigger. She's still small and has a long way to go, but I'm pleased so far, so here she is!

My first gun that I bought, KJW Glock 23. Bought bone stock, threw on 150% recoil and hammer springs as well as hi-flow valves and an M3 Tac Light.
http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/d...%20Glock%2023/

My next purchase was a KSC M11A1, again, Bone Stock (still is as I don't game her, she's more of a collectors piece and for the gangster points =P )
http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/d...t/KSC%20M11A1/

My Crosman R38 Sniper Rifle with custom camo paint job and 3x-9x hunting scope. Despite the flaming I'll probably get for owning a crosman rifle, it's actually pretty good. Shoots good and hard and straight (once you dial in the hop up). I mean, it's no CA M24, but for less than half the price? It's great for beginner snipers like me, or people who just want to pretend to be a sniper every now and then!

My on going project! But a busted UTG MP5. Broken stock, broken cocking handle, insides were a bit messed up, etc etc.
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/d...P5A3Before.jpg

Now I've thrown on a new solid stock, she's wired to the rear now and I've gone from the small 8.4v 1100mAh battery to a large type 8.4v 3000mAh battery. Put on a new foregrip with tac light as the old one was cracked. Waiting for new CA metal cocking tube and cocking handle to come in as well as new Prometheus 110SP Spring, some metal bushings and a new mechbox. Now she looks MUCH better =P
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/d...MP5A4After.jpg

My next project, a TSD M4A1. Plans for metal bushings, nunchuck battery, upgraded spring and a new mechbox are in the making.
http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/d.../Airsoft/M4A1/

My KSC USP .45 with upgraded 150% recoil and hammer springs and metal slide w/trades.
http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/d...SC%20USP%2045/

My WE HiCappa 5.1 Silver Dragon
http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/d...appa%20Dragon/

My baby, my KJW Silver M9 Beretta with upgraded 150% recoil spring and hammer spring and VFC Silencer Kit
http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/d...20M9%20Silver/

And to cap it off, a shot of my entire collection.

Let me know what you guys think so far. Cheers

Bought it off a guy here in the forums. You can't find them in Canada, period, because they're not clear so they're considered a replica and Canadian Tire and Walmart legally cannot carry replica's. Crosman doesn't make a clear version so we're SOL. The supervisor of the gun shop at my local LeBaron hunting goods store told me this. He said they'll never be able to carry it unless the local laws for importing airsoft change. He also said there's problems with the bolt action too, he said any rifle with a realistic bolt action can also cause you problems at custom.
So long story short, only way to REALLY get one is technically smuggle it across the border. Or declare it with the red tip and all, and hope to god you meet a nice border guard. I didn't ask the guy I bought it from how he got it and he didn't tell. All that mattered was that it was in Canada and now it's in my hands =P If you CAN get one, they run for about 350 Canadian from what I've seen used in the forums here, anything less than that is a bargain and grab it fast. They shoot hard and fast, and it seems pretty damn accurate once you dial in the hop up. It's no CA or TM sniper, but for less than half the price? Great for beginners or wannabe snipers like me =P Everyone needs one IMO =P

Well, I should fix that, it's not actually CHROME, it's full metal and painted to look like chrome, I suppose. And I had A&A custom order it for me from RedWolf. This is the one I got.

Drool-tastic. I can't wait to get her.

Bah, IMO its quite a ripoff to charge $350 for a smuggled Crosman.

Trigger spring give you problems out of the box? This is also more of a collectors piece, not going to be gamed, only shot once a week or so to keep her in good working order and oiled and all. She'll spend most of her time on the wall next to the M11A1. Man, wish I knew you had one, I've been looking for a used one since JUNE! and finally ordered one new! I wouldn't mind having duals =P It's the ONLY duals I'd actually want. I think the silver (chrome looking) Beretta's are sexy as hell.

Considering it's the only way to get them? I can't complain. I got mine for less than 350 shipped, so I was lucky and got a nice hunting scope with it too! It's actually not a BAD rifle. It's not a typical crosman. But like I said, it's no CA M24 or TM VSR-10, but it's less than half the price! If I had the balls to do it myself, I would have gotten one while I'm down there every two months visiting family and brought one back myself. They range from 100-130U.S. so throw on a good scope and you can go for 200CDN. Extra hundred bucks and not risk being black-listed? Sounds good to me! =P I'll let someone else take that risk. Plus it had the camo paint job.

Hah, I'm not selling mine!! Screw that, they are VERY hard to find in silver.

The spring was fine, but since I fired it plenty, it snapped. What kind of idiot made it out of pot metal?

Its a common problem.

Cheers,
Alex

Oh believe me, I know how hard they are to find in the silver! That's why I just eventually decided to buy one new. From the time when I asked if he could get it, to when Mark emailed me and said he had it in his hands? Two weeks. Not bad at all, then 3 days to get to me. I can't complain, considering I spent 4 months now looking for one. I'm happy. And mine wont be shot too often and definitely not gamed, so I think my trigger spring should be okay. Do you have any extra mags for yours? Mark didn't have any for me and I'm still interested in picking up an extra on. They're harder to find apparently than the gun itself! =P

Hah yeah I don't think silver ones are available. I have my original silver mag, and two black ones.

How much did it run you anyway? (you're welcome to PM).

Cheers,
Alex

Just shy of 400 bucks (shipped xpresspost to my door), which I thought really wasn't that bad because used I was looking around 300-350 plus shipping, so I figured for an extra 50-100 bucks I can get a brand new one! And since it's going to be more of a collectors piece, why risk getting one with minor scratches and such, this ones brand new! I KNOW it'll be mint. Mind if I ask what you paid for yours, years ago, just for comparison on how much prices have gone up in the recent years. (feel free to PM if you want).

couldn't you just declare that crosman as a .177 air rifle? they wouldn't know the difference.

If you say the words "Gun" "Pistol" "Rifle" "BB" or anything similar, REGARDLESS of what comes after or before that word, red flags go up, they will pull you over and search the vehicle. IF you get lucky, the guy will ask you to open your trunk and see it right there and he MAY let you through. IF you get pulled over and they ask to see it, they will very quickly discover it's NOT a .177 rifle and you get in SERIOUS shit. I've heard quite a few horror stories.
