Pistol trades?
Do the "cheaper" GBB brands like WE and KWA come with trades? I've never seen a detailed enough picture of one to conclude.

Dunno about KWA, but some WE have painted on trades. Not very attractive or durable, IMO. Fortunately, they're generally an optional model.

Painted on eh.... I was looking for a cheap project pictol to tear into but I was hoping it came with trades. "It's an option", you mean taht all WE models don't come with the trades on them?

Most WE models available with trades are just modification on an existing tradeless model.

Just get a TM 1911 and get a slide with springfield trades. The tm 1911's internals are a lot better than crappy ftl we's.

I think he knows that already. TM 1911 is expensive to upgrade while WE's are full metal and you get one half the price than a fully upgraded TM 1911.

WE's 1911 are technically clones of the TM 1911.

Plus if you can find a good detailed pic of the trades you want and have a blankmetal slide, its nothing a dremel and some engraving bits can't solve...

If WE's are just a clone of Tokyo Mauri's, is it confirmed that they can be upgraded with after market slides & frames. A chunk of metal snapped off the back of my WE slide and I would like to replace it with a CNC made PGC or Creation slide designed for the Mauri. The metal on the WE is garbage (sorry to any WE fans out there). Eventually I would like to replace the frame as well. Sorry for the jack, but can anyone tell me if these parts are compatible?
