Yeah, so apparently they're hitting the shelves at RW. Cool stuff.

Hi Kos!

Haha, yeah, I wouldn't mind a Type56 either, looks amazingly accurate to the real deal. Too rich for my blood though, I'm waiting for a ACM All steel AKM (its coming out soon supposedly)

Not interested in the Type97 though, not my cup of tea.

Depends on the scenario. But it'd most likely be one or the other.

I doubt my systema is going to be anything but a gun-case queen for the first 3 months...

I'd much rather just skip all the shit, and mod my 74, though..

Yeah man, mod the hell out of that ICS. I can see why you'd want a nice shorty AK (hell, I want one too, but since I can only afford one AK, I prefer to keep it standard length). Start with a nice woodkit, perhaps shorten the barrel yourself, both inner and outer, and just slide the front sight down to the gas block?

Replace the 74 style brake with an AKM styled one for more short goodness...

Apparently the AK74M's flash hider is one of the best in the world, so I'll hold on to it (plus, it's terribly sexy).

Anyway, the real reason I want a shorty is .. (aside from the fact that all my guns are short.. minus the 74, ofcourse) it REALLY goes with the PMC, "straight out of a technical" load-out. A folder would be nice, but I'd much rather just have a "U" front-end.

Yep from what I gathered, the 74 style brake is the best in the world for reduction of muzzle climb, more or less. Hell, in some videos, it seems to actually LOWER the muzzle during firing.

But in airsoft it doesn't matter, and I find the AKM one to be more sexy.

Up to you.
