G&P M120 mechbox + CA High Torque motor= Stripped piston?
So after my TM motor died I went and got a CA High Torque long motor to go with my G&P M120 7mm mechbox. Today after firing about 5 shots in full auto all I hear is a rev, similar to what you hear on a hand drill. Needless to say my piston was stripped. My question is what type of replacement piston should I get in terms of teeth Full or Half? Also is it wise to get the kind with titanium/steel teeth?

Full teeth.
I don't see why it'd be an issue to get the titanium teeth deep fires. |

So, what's the advantage of getting the half-teeth piston? If the spring is too long when compressed, the full-teeth titanium will be jammed with the sector gear. This happened to me. A Prometheus M150 spring in a Systema mechbox. The compressed spring length was too long and as a result the sector gear and titanium gear were jammed up. In this case, will a half-teeth piston help?
TIA

Half-tooth pistons are generally used with Helical gear sets. Full tooth are generally used with non-helical gear sets.

None. Half-teeth pistons are only used with the following gear sets:
- Prometheus Max Torque - Systema Ultra Torque Up - Systema Infinity Torque Up - Guarder Infinite Torque Up. Beyond that, half-tooth pistons are not required for any standard torque, high speed, ultra high speed, double torque, super torque or triple torque gearsets - regardless of whether they are flat or helical. |

Sorry for the necro, this is the most appropriate thread I found for posting my question.
The stock piston in my L85 (long 19 teeth model) was stripped, I was in a hurry to find a replacement part and could only get the G&P long half teeth piston, the full tooth model wasn't available. Would using a half tooth piston with a "standard" (not high torque) gearset cause problems ?
