Coleman Propane Tank Problems - Solution!
Colin_S posted this in the original thread about defective Coleman tanks but it deserves its own thread. A couple minutes and a couple bucks of parts, and you don't have to wait for a gauge from AI. Cheggit here: http://www.colinsun.com/Colin/nfblog/?p=670

Thanks for the useful solution. Its still useful to have a gauge so that you don't have to waste a bunch of propane to find out the tank is bad.
OT- I've tested many of the Coleman propane tanks (16.4 oz) at my local Canadian Tire using the gauging tool and found that none of them had an over-pressed O-Ring. -VM |
