I think you've got the wrong image link, KG3. That looks like the sling you have up for sale.

I have the same chest rig in MC and I really love it. It's lightweight and allows you to carry pretty much everything you need for smaller games or skirmishes. Only problem with this is that there's no way to carry hydration except for a backpack like I do for bigger games.

It's small and straight to the point. It has room for all you should need for a regular day. Those bigger pouches on each side can be used for radio or to holster a pistol if you don't feel like having a dropleg for the day.

Yup, I have the khaki one, works great (even though I load with with MP5 mags), even though it's my first chest rig (or anything on my chest from previous rigs) and makes me enjoy the feeling of motherhood (good chunk of weight on the front, not used to it). Elastics that hold the pouches closed are very strong, should hold even a single Armalite mag in place no problem per pouch (I can hold three MP5 mags per pouch, total of 12 mags, but can squeeze in a fourth in each one). The longer side pouches meant for a large SF radio are interesting to deal with, maybe a temp dump pouch, a holster for a large handgun with attachments (here's a pic of mine with my G19 with supressor on it, held well last game): Great rig, great price, internal storage as long as the rig, but meant for flat items.......... I carry a bag or two of differennt BB weights in there, plus a loader, plus little odds & ends), rearmost mesh pocket it good for holding a map or a red 'kill flag' for easy access. Pistol mag pouches are limited though, my G19 mags fit perfectly (the rig was designed by former Delta Force operative Paul Howe, who swears by the Glock 30 in 0.45ACP, which explains the small mag size), you might find larger sized mags a tight fit. well i bring countless things to the game but when i go out it consists of.
8 Midcaps (1 Hicap pending rules) Multitool Knife 1 Sidearm 2 magazines (+1 in sidearm) Radio/throat mic Hydration additional BBs I think i can find room for all that, if not on another dropleg. Plus just having Eagle makes me cream my jeans. |

You can fit all that onto the chest rig, except the hydration, but a CamelBak fits with it like a dream.
I can even sling a heavy bastard of a sniper rifle on (along with everything else) without much trouble: In case you are wondering, that's an HSGI Sniper Waist Pack in khaki on my belt (along with Maxpedition Rolly Polly dump pouch) to hold extra stuff like my camo face paint and mags for when I don my ghillie. Or my face paint mirror the last time I got a serious bleeder from close range! Last edited by CDN_Stalker; May 30th, 2007 at 00:30.. |

So mobility i take it almost second to none. Any suggestions on a sling? i prefer one point slings. I was thinking a bungee but i dont know if it would get obstructed.

There isn't anywhere to attach a one point sling to this rig unless you modded the shoulder strap with a Dring to hook it too. Or sling around your neck, but I doubt many do that with a one point. Any sling that you can use just wearing a T-shirt you can use with this rig. If you need attachment points............... you'll have to either mod the rig or switch slings.
