Madbull hop up sleeve+ X shaped thing

So when I look down the back of my barrel of my newly installed madbull hop up it looks a bit lopsided to the right. Anyone else had this problem. I think it is due to the three "shark teeth" that they used to prevent double feeding. If I followed the groove to match my barrel everything should be ok right?

Also the X shaped hard piece of rubber won't go in so I used my old rubber instead. would this affect the gun's performance dramatically?

I installed the hop up onto my TM M4 stock hop up unit.

Yes the X type bucking is hard to install when you are trying to insert it through the chamber but it is much easier to dis-assemble the hop up and insert it through that lever arm. Madbull shark hop up did not work on my aeg's. My results are bb's shoot erratically or it jams. My two cents

I have no idea it seemed to be pretty crushed from shipping.

I put one in my ICS AK-74M along with a Mad Bull Black Shark 2 tightbore. I had the same lopsided to the right problem, and it gave WAY too much hopup (up 1 meter and slightly to the side at 10 meters distance with the hopup off). I definitely don't recommend it.

I have yet to field it but it looks like my old hop up was a guarder one

I spoke with Hazard today, he just installed that Mad Bull thing in his TM G36 with a 6.03mm tightbore, and he is loving it. He wouldn't shut up about it. And this coming from a guy who bought one of my Guarder clear hop up rubber sets, ripped the sleeve installing it and had to use a stock one, then had problems with the hop up bucking being too big, causing overhop at full off setting............. guess it's time for Hazard to post the review he said he was going to do.

I just installed a madbull tightbore on a sniper rifle and it is shooting 10' to the right at 100'. It does not have a madbull hop up rubber/bucking on though??? Has anyone heard of stray shots using madbulls?

I finally got to test out the 3 I got in 2 different guns (1 stock and the other shooting about 395 w0.20) with 3 different barrels (TK Twist in the stock gun and 455mm Prometheus & 363mm KM tightbore in the upgraded gun) and I've had disappointing results with all 3.

In the stock gun the bb's flight pattern is really erratic, going from only 30-40 feet out to maybe 75 feet max no matter how I dial in the hop up. As for the upgraded gun the bb's will not go any further than about 100 feet then rapidly fall to the ground. The bb's are damn straight but I cannot get any kind of distance.

Glad this info is coming out, I was considering buying one of these for my CA M24. I'll just play around more with my newish KM RH65 and see if I can get it to work better than it is.

I have a systema in my m4 (400fps) and the results were great. With the stock barrel my bb's would always fly up (using .25's) but with the systema everything is perfect.

my results (and a lot of other from denmark) are that the hop up bucking sucks, eaten pisons and bad consistency are the symptoms. the X thing can be used but i have not been able to feel a difference myself, only that the hop up is not as strong as before when using heavy BB's in sniper rifles.

my advice is save your money and buy, systema, guarder or marui they all work perfectly.
