ASCA Shipping
Hey guys. I'm from Sask. I ordered a propane adapter from ASCA on the 5th, and the Canada Post estimated arrival was yesterday, the 9th but it hasn't arrived. I'm wondering if any of you are from BC/Alberta/Sask and have bought stuff from ASCA. How long does it usually take?
*EDIT*: It also still says, on the tracking info "NORTH YORK, ON Item accepted at the Post office" on Feb 6. Last edited by Styrak; February 10th, 2007 at 13:01.. |

I ordered a claw mount and sling and it appeared to get stuck in north york too but it came when ASCA said they predict 2 days after Canada post. Just be patient and it should come. I think that it is just a long trip and no checking of package because it may be directly to Saskatoon from North york.
Hope that helps

It's usuallt a day or two later then they say, anytime I've ordered something from there it's been a day or to later then predicted.

Canada Post is shit for shipping times. I've had them tell me things will arrive in 4 days that have actually taken 2 weeks.

should never expect anything to arrive on a Friday from Canada Post. Its also business days, so weekends dont count.

Xpress post is always that way to go when selling or buying. (If optional)
You get a tracking number and at times with bigger items its way cheaper. My guess is that you will get it Tuesday, It seems to me that everything comes in on Tuesdays or Wednesdays... Patients  |

From what i've heard you don't want to ship UPS, slam you with all sorts of extra costs (from what i can remember anyway). Yeah things normally take longer than expected, but if it starts to look like 4/5 days over the estimated time then i'd start to ask questions. Hang in there bud lol.

Shipping UPS is fine domestically but once it crosses a border you can get nailed with brokerage fees sometimes 70% the declared value of your item.
I actually find the opposite with Canada post. My L85 from BC was estimated as getting to me Feb 5th but it showed up Dec 30th, almost an entire week early. Same thing (but not as an extreme difference) for some M203 shells I ordered from A&A and a G34 from Alberta. |
