Looking for Gunsmith in Hamilton, ON area.
As the subject line says, I'm looking for an airsoft gunsmith in the Hamilton area. Specifically, it's for a friend's TM M4 which has stopped working.
I would prefer to just take it to a doc and have them look it over as both my friend and I are new to fixing the internals of an AEG. For those interested here's the details: TM M4 (Bought used) PDI 150 Spring cut down Metal bushings(Unknown make) Metal shims(Also unknown make) 9.6v 2700mah NiMH nunchuck (Wall charger used) Symptoms: Gun was working perfectly fine for an entire game last season. Then one day it suddenly stopped working. We've taken down the entire mechbox and re-assembled. I did notice the gears were wearing a bit strangely and filed them back down as well as re-adjusted the shims. When you pull the trigger with a charged battery I can hear the motor struggle to crank the gears. Upon release of the trigger I can hear the gears falling back till they hit the anti-reversal latch. The piston is pulled back but not far enough for the release. I've tried adjusting the motor height and this has not helped either. Last edited by LyquidFyre; January 17th, 2007 at 00:59.. Reason: First post was a bit snarky. |
