Nades help!

Hello,

I recently picked up 6 CA 120 shower nades. I gamed them the night before and all worked fine, but this morning they are not holding gas. Out of the 6 I was able to reset one and get it to work, but after I discharged it and tried again it venting.

It sounds like the gas is coming out of the top when I try to fill the nades.

Anyone else have a problem like this before? They are all new less than a day old and before I gamed them I was able to pop them all off without a problem.

Sounds like the little ball bearings have come loose, which easily happens.

Open up the nade and make sure not to lose and of the tiny metal balls, I think there's 2 per hole around the chamber. They sit loose on the holes so it's tricky to keep them in there while putting the nade back together.

Hope that helps

Sounds like you opened them up too much while trying to reset them. This is very common and requires a teardown of the grenade. But do it on a white papertowel so that you see all 8 bearings and the won't roll around on you too much.

I'v had the same prob.,what I'v been doing is taking a Q-tip and running it around the inside of the piston pin on the bottom of it and then I give it a bang on the palm of my hand and it seems to reset.I'v had this prob. ever since I bought the unit and it's been that way all summer, eveytime I'v used it! Kind of a pain in the *ss but I guess I just got use to it.

I will give it a try thanks. I already tried taking a few of them apart and everything looks ok. The gas keeps going straight through. "(

Try setting the seal plug more firmly. Push on the trigger plate HARD to push the seal plug up into the gas cylinder. Sometimes the orings are a little hard to set. You shouldn't have to disassemble your grenades down to the little trigger ball level often. Alternatively, unscrew the rear half about 2 turns ONLY. This pulls the ball seat back far enough so they can seat even if the plug is not pushed fully into the gas cylinder. Screw the grenade back together and the balls will push the plug forward and seal the oring.
