The shipping cost partially. Don't think it really costs 50 to ship.
Still, it's quite cheap. Even comes with pouches.

The reason its cheap is, well, its cheap. Its a pos and note it doesnt say cordura or anything, it says 'nylon materials'. Plus, they make their money by seriously overcharging on the shipping.

thats probably like 5 dollars in material since they buy it wholesale.
its probably all single stiched so if you put two mags in your pouch it will tear right off.

just got this thing in the mail, its really good quality surprisingly. its a lot like my old phantom. they are half right though, the stitching is alright, but im gonna go over it myself a few times to secure it, the nylon looks like it wont be tearing soon. and its actually a coyote tan. (little darker than the pic) im gonna order an OD one in a minute.

everything you see there, admin panel, double pistol mag pouch, stagered double AR pouch (2 mags), medic pouch, and some weird utility pouch that hold g36 mags like a dream. also shown is a blue force ciras sling, and a CRKT knife. also got some grimlocks not shown.
at first i hated it, cause i dint know how to adjust it, but then i figured it all out. rip cord is awesome! |

pretty cool! good deal for what, 75$ give or take? As you said, do your own reinforcements on the stiches if need be, have some fun with it, as you wont be to worried about modifications or anything since its not a name brand ciras right.

exactly, it was 90 CAD shipped. so if it rips im not gonna cry over it. plus it will last, nothing i cant fix. again the material is excellent, just the stitching is average in comparison to the real thing. already orderd a triple ciras mag pouch, and a tan subload to match.
forgot to mention they come with dummy plates. |

I've seen a few of those on Ebay for dirt cheap too. Though I'm not sure on the quality.

I got my ciras from ebay, paid about the same for it, the only thing is I had to remove the fake plates from it to get it to fit around me more comfortably. Since then I've added enough mag pouches so I can carry 18 low cap mags.
