Gas recharge for GBB...
If this is not in the proper forum, please move me.
I'm heading to Edmonton next week (19Dec2006), and I'd like to pick up some Green gas for my KSC Glock 19. But I've never fired it before, and it takes some type of Gas Propellent. What is recommended and where in Edmonton can I buy some? :smile: Thnx in Advance. Soryu...

Propane adaptor + Coleman Propane. (End of story)
Or if your G19 is still stock plastic slide, then.... Duster Adaptor + Duster Gas. |

yeah, if he doesnt know how to fill he must have a plastic slide. use duster untill u've upgraded.
greengas = propane + flour + silicone oil...or somthing like that. |

Hey Hattrick, it's still stock, I'm hoping to upgrade for sure, but for now. I'll have to settle with what I have.
I what to go towards a H%K MK23. But not the TM model. Something metal.

Make sure it's tetrafluoroethane, R-134a, and not difluoroethane, R-152A.
If you want to risk breaking your slide (which you can then upgrade with a metal one) you can pick up a propane adaptor and use regular $3 propane bottles. It's even cheaper than duster.

I think he will be going the propane adaptor now, as I just noticed you bought a metal slide.

Go the duster route if you want to ride on the plastic frame forever, at the expense of power. Go the propane route if you don't mind the fact that your frame will eventually fail, hence the need to switch to metal (about 100$, not that bad anyway, and you get the sexy racking sound to boot) . You'll also get considerably better power. |

If you want to get an adaptor for next week, starting on a friday, you had better make an order at ASC Armoury fast.

That's great info guys, but still does not answer my other part of my question. Where in Edmonton can I get what I need?
Seems I need a duster adapter. (I only have ABS slide) So where do I get one from in Edmonton by next week? and then the can of air too. Soryu...

ASCA... As they are the only retailer that would carry the adaptor. Make an order and it will be shipped to you. Sooner you do that, sooner you will have your adaptor. Then just go to Home Depot for the propane.
