p90 hicaps good or bad?

looking at feeding the little bullet hose. ive been looking everywheres and The p90 hicaps sound awesome, that they use spring fed, and dont rattle, also allows for inverted firing. (just in case) plus 300 rds to feed the brutal rate of fire with a 9.6. Ive heard some people bad mouth them though, anyone have any experience with them? i found this

my experience with p90 hicaps is there crap. i tried making a little ramp in my hicap like that tutorial thing that i don't have a link to. it didn't work, still jams. i resorted to 1 locap and 5 pistol clip hand loaders :banghead:

p90 hicaps jam, are repairable, but are nothing compared to the ultra cool low-caps with life-like fake bullits and stuff. And with 68 rnds per mag, well you catch my drift

Ive played around with a P90 once.. the owner was new to it and was having trouble getting the hicap in.. when it was put in slowly the winder would get hit and it would completely unwind. Easily fixed with a good smack to put it in place. But I doubt everyone would be so kind dealing with it.. especially if it happened over and over again.

One word: lube
my highcap for my p90 sucked until it was well lubed. fed about 3 bbs then stopped now it feeds all 300 and I love that it doesnt rattle.

I have had good luck with my P90 highcap. Here is a link to some info on ensuring your P90 high caps are more reliable. good reading.
about 12 posts down "binatang" posts a picture of a mod. I did this to mine and it works great.

Note: I used different material though... I cut a small strip out of aluminum from a pop can, bent it into a little V shape, a drop of super glue in place taking care not to get any on the gears, and filled it in with hot glue. Don't make it to big.

Lowcap all the way.
You can even see your remaining rounds if you remove the mag and look under it.

You just have to have a vest capable of carrying the mags.
Magchances are easy and fast when done properly.

i can actually swap mags pretty damn fast, its slower than a Carbine, but unlike an AR where the mags drop (eek!) and with AK and g36s where you have to align the magazine into the well (this also applies to almost every magazine fed rifle) the p90 however seem to guide itself, plus the slap to secure the mag is so satisfying. Only if the charging handle wasnt so meh.

Not meaning to threadjack but after watching the anime gunslinger girl in the first episode you would not believe how fast this 13 yr old does a p90 mag change and cocks the gun and starts firing again. She took out 5 guys with a p90 and shes 13!
But yes I do love my p90 lowcaps and custom mag pouches.
