Silencer Question:

Hey guys, my buddy was going through some of the silencers at WGC and came accross this one.

He asked me if it would fit an M4A1, says its for a Type 96 (Google Image search only really showed a sniper rifle) but I have no idea... so I turn to you. Will it, and if not is there anything that can be gotten that will fit it to one?

The Type 96 is a sniper rifle. When the company selling it says it only works on a perticular gun then most likley it will only work on that gun.

Thats what I thought, thats why I asked if there was another attachment to thread it on with. Thanks guys.

I know its good for an M4A1, but does it mount the same as an Ops silencer flush with the front sight, or at the tip of the barrel like the flash hider?

It kinda looks like it slips over the flashider but i dunno if it goes all the way down to the triangle sight. If you want one that goes all the way doen the otter barrell to the front sight the only one i know of is the G&P USSCOCOM silencer,

It doesn't go all the way down to the triangle sight.

That works somewhat similar the OPS/SPR type suppressors, where it slips on to the barrel extension and over the flash hider. It's convenient if you install and remove the suppressor a lot, since you don't need to remove the flash hider.
