There's no one stop conversion kit available. You'll have to look at all the aftermarket parts available and custom build it yourself.
Keep in mind that when you begin to mix a bunch of aftermarket parts together all from different brands, you will begin to run in to compatibility issues that will require handiwork and modifications to get them to fit. |

To add to what Illusion said, if you can't find it you can have it made. But be prepared as custom airsoft parts are costly. And about compatability, I know Sheriff parts don't work on KJW guns, i'm not 100% sure on WE but that's something you should find out if you are looking at Sheriff parts.

The closest compatibility that you'll find is parts made for Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa parts. I don't know specifically if they are compatible with WE 1911 though.
I know metal slides made for Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 will fit the WE 5.1... and apparently Hi-Capa 5.1 slides and OB's will fit Marui 1911. So *assuming* WE 1911 is again a clone of Marui 1911, then the parts will swap over. This is something that you'll have to research more on. Personally, I would keep your WE 1911 the way it is or sell it. If you're going to be swapping that many parts to build a quality gun, you might as well start from a quality platform - i.e., the Marui 1911. If you go with a Marui clone, then you'll have to deal with tolerance issues that WE had to deal with to copy the clone. Aftermarket companies build off the Marui tolerances. If anything is off, then you'll have more issues to deal with. To give you a head start, look in to Shooter's Design two-tone slides. Nine Ball makes long slide releases. Nine Ball also makes threaded outer barrels specifically for the 1911. I can't comment on compatibility between that outer barrel and aftermarket Hi-Capa slides, since Hi-Capas are based on a double-stack frame. Here's some examples of those parts that I've used on my own Hi-Capas: Two-tone slide (this is a hybrid version, there are standard/non-hybrids available): Long slide release (I can't remember what colour the MSG3 one was. These images also show off low profile mag releases): Silver: Black: |

thx
im generally looking for mods that are strictly for the normal 1911 design. the hi cappas, and dragons are too crazy for me. so what you are saying is that i shouldve started with the marui. dang... well with my WE 1911, what kind of complications are we looking at. im just looking for a polished slide/dust silver, and maybe the extended thumb safeties that are located on the military a1 versions. where can i get these kinds of mods? thanks. |
