First thing people in this board say when someone ask question like where to buy an AEG or else is " Get Age-verified first !! " I am tired of everyone here asking that !!


Guess what........I did everything i had to do ............STILLWAITING............

Send e-mail a lot ...............STILL WAITING............

Did everything twice to be sure, so i get Verified AGAIN and Syrinx who verified me send everything again.........STILL WAITING ..................

A few month pass ...............STILL WAITING ........................

???????????????????????????????????????

So STOP telling everyone on this board to be age-verified Before asking question since we might be a lot waiting and since we get no answer from our e-mail that were sent like 6 month's ago we still got our question ! And were to ask ?

Here ?? in that GOOD community that reject you as soon as they see that you are not age-verified !!

I dont say that for myself since i have no question to ask and no need to buy an AEG ( for now ) but in my "airsoft team" two member that start airsoft in the last 2 months came here on the forum and has been rejected in there first post because they are not age-verified !

They are both 28 and older and already playing airsoft, both in the army for more than 6 years, they love playing airsoft and they will never visit that board again in there lifetime.

No, the common answer to "Where to buy AEG" is as follow:

"Read the FAQ, use the search function, there are retailers list along the top, and get yourself age-verified to have access to the classified section for some cheaper deals."

If your friends are that old and still didn't bother to read up things on their own before asking a generic question that's been covered in the FAQ, then there's the reason for getting flamed. It has nothing to do with whether they are age-verified.

If an age-verified member asks the same question, they too would get flamed for not reading.

Lastly, on top of emails, have you bothered to show up to a game? Or at least inquire in the game section whether an age verifier will be attending the game.

I think alot of people have been trying to get age verified and CAN'T, myself I tried for months. I have met several (not 2 or 3, on my team alone there are 4 that have submitted info up to 8 months ago)players at games that have given their info to age verifiers and guess what, NOTHING. It doesn't matter if there is an age verifier at a game if they don't do what they signed on for. For some reason this is a flawed system, I don't know why or what the real solution is. I emailed several times, and sent PMs to mods never got a response. I know these people state they are busy with other things, but if these said people put a system in place and then neglect the system, what's the purpose. :banghead:

thing is, im still waiting too,
I dont have any need to purchase anything from here, I have anough stuff as it is, but people seem to respect the "age verified" people more. Thats fine.
I have talked to a few local people from my club, and neighbor club, but still have not been verified, perhaps I can just verify myself, seing as how im an Admin with BCAC? or will that at least hurry some stuff up?
Like I said though, Im in no rush, when it happens it happens, and thats just dandy, im sure whoever on this end is either really busy, or didnt get any of the PM's.

First off this topic has been up and down this board too many times to mention. Second off these people who are capable of age verification have lives themselves. Thirdly Most of us have had to wait months before the verification finnaly occoured.

There are other avenues to pursue in order to get your airsoft gear. Haveing said that, Those people who have volunteered to be age verifiers should get off thier asses and have the job done within a month. Other wise the names and thier job is just going to pile up. We know what you're going through, we have all been there. The system isn't perfect but it tends to work. Just because you're verified doesn't mean you get respect. There are so many assholes on this forum just lookin for a reason to flame some body. Don't take it personaly it's just the internet!

Would LOVE to point out that there IS a thread dedicated to getting Age-Verified, and that there is also a part of that thread that is also dedicated to handling people who WERE verified and have not received said status.

I myself only took 6 weeks to get verified. One issue that I encountered is that two weeks after getting a local verifier to help me with this task I was still waiting for Age verified status. Now what I did at that moment was get onto that thread, and made a note, and the mods addressed it in due time.

All ya gotta do is look for the right place to go, and you'll get it done. If ya just sit on your hands and expect everyone to play patty-cake, nothing's going to happen! Its a two person game

What's the big kerfuffle with Age Verification? Sure it lets you into the B&S but that doesn't stop you from being a supportive and knowledgeable member of the forums.

I was a member here since I was...16? And I just got verified last month.

But did that little fact stop me from having useful input? No. Did I bitch and complain? No. Suck it up kids. If your buddies are 28+ they should be able to come here, deal with some flaming and carry on.

i dont know why everybody is having so much trouble getting verified lately, my local rep at the last game made an announcement that he was there and would verify any of the new guys needing it. i know when he verified me it didnt take that long....

well mine took a few days, my roomate is still waiting on hers. cndzn did bolth ours, I think its just a mater of time its unfortunate that real life tends to get in the way of hobbies. But hey thats life.
