Buy some lowcaps lol.
-- I usually just put some silicone oil around the gears and that seems to keep them running fine for awhile. P90 highcaps will never have a 100% running garuantee though.

To get the most out of your P90 hicap, you will need to do a slight modification inside by adding a piece of metal in the appropriate place an angle, so that bb's do not fall onto one side of the feeding wheel.... Refer to the attached pic for modification.
I used a thin piece of aluminumm, bent it at 3 places, glued it into the inside of the mag using a very strong glue (one i used was called Gloozit Industrial - and it worked nicely). Filled the open space with basic hot glue, and thats it. The reason the hicap unwinds is because the bb's jam up just in front of the feeding wheel, thus not letting bb's in there and causing it to unwind. Lubricating inside helps, but does not solve problem (also kills your accuracy because bb's too slippery and dont hit the hopup very well). Best way is to use both, VERY LIGHTLY lubricate the inside of your hicap, and use this mod. Last edited by Scavenger; November 6th, 2008 at 15:05.. |
