Buy and Sell negative ratings.
This wanted me to set up a package deal especially for him (you know who you are) ask me 10,000 questions about the shit then sends me this e-mail after what I think is an agreement to purchase. Keep in mind that I sent him the EMT address.

It depends on how close he got to purchasing. If he said something like, "You can expect the money in a bit" or he agreed to buy it, then yes, Negative rating for just skimping out on a deal he was originally going to go through with.

Yeah but would take "... So, I'd need you to wrap this package up pretty tight..." as an agreement to purchase?

I consider either payment in full or a deposit an agreement to buy a gun. If I say sold with no deposit then my bad, if you flake after sending $ for payment or deposit, your bad, I either keep deposit or a small portion of the full payment + charges to send the money back (what ever it cost me to receive/send money). To date no one's flaked on a deposit/full payment but I've had 3 or 4 people flake when I didn't take it. No deal until there's money in the bank.

so I can't leave this guy a negative rating? Even if it has cost me other buyers from purchasing this? But some ass can leave me a negative rating for supposibly PMing him too many times even when he got his money is a timely fashion?

No neg feedback. While its annoying that you spent so much time with this person, he never said: "I'll take it".

I agree with that.
Verbal is one thing, but physically recieving the money into the account is another. If the person flakes and wants their money back even after they deposited it, than yes, neg. rating. For deciding to opt out before he gave you payment...I'd say neutral.

I ran into a couple situations where the buyers asked me a ton of questions and claim that he wanted to set up a ETA to finalize the deal. Only to have the 'potental buyer' backing off a few hours from the meet. Also I was given explanations such as 'suspecting' what I have to sell is of questionable quality, another time a buyer simply told me he's too busy with work to make the meet at all.
I guess this is part of what a seller have to deal with ...likewise any on of us can walk into a department store or say a car dealer saying I would like to buy the product. However nothing is final until you sign on the doted line or have the cash up front to make that an offical transaction. I think it is normal for a seller to experience the ups and down, the biggest reward is when you make a successful transaction and receiving a positive feed back from the buyer. |

I'm inclined to agree with Jar|-|ead. Maybe a neg. rating would be a little harsh
