Army Surplus Store In Halifax NS area
Does anyone know where I can find an army surplus store in the Halifax NS area. I'm looking for some uniforms (new preferably)
From reading I can't quite figure out the legality of CADPAT, are the new ones or used ones (or both) illegal to sell. How to tell a knock off from the real thing. Thank You; |

Yeah, Frontenac's as close as your going to get to issue without camping for your size on ebay. Just stay away from Parklands (run, don't walk).

Ron's Army Navy in Halifax is good for uniforms but i bought a airsoft gun that craped out i hoping that they will be sympathetic and sell me the clip for my out of the display case cause there out and i have a big tournament this long weekend coming...I'll write about how it turns out if the place get a thumbs up or down. =UPDATE= They sold me a brand new mag a a discounted price so it's all good and i would recommend Ron's army navy to anyone in the area... now if they just had a web site. They were real god about selling me the part from another gun and repairing it great price too!

Any knock off cadpat pant/shirt/jacket that has a square pocket is the fake version.
The first & second gen issue cadpat shirt/jacket pockets are angled, the first gen issued pant has a straight flap over the leg pocket to hide the buttons. The second gen pant has an angled type V flap to cover the buttons on the leg pockets. Peerless garments has the contract to make cdn military clothing... http://unionmadeclothing.ca/ |
