Airsoft pistols

Hi all, i've been reading the forums for a couple of hours and haven't found anything regarding pistols, although i may have overlooked them.

I just bought myself one of these

SPECIAL FORCES M190 FULL AUTO, HFC made in Taiwan.

The problem i'm facing is finding gas for it. I've read through all the "how to use the duster for gas" and such posts but all these posts don't mention pistols and i assume they talk about AEG's (if i could afford to brake my pistol i'd try the methods without asking). The gas is stored in the mag of my pistol, and i'm confused as to how i can quicky and easily refill it (since apparently it will last 2-3 magazines [once again this may only be for AEG's]) From what i gather i need a green gas tank from which i can easily fill the mag, and to fill the green gas tank i use duster. (naturally not as simple as that)

Thanx.

Aeg's tend to shoot better on electricity. But I have heard good things about Aeg's on gas.

Duster isn't that great in the M190. Use Green.
You can do what I did, I have the non-compensated select fire of the same gun. Just get a propane adaptor and a tank of propane, then you're ready to rock. Just put your mag upside-down, push the adaptor into the valve for a few seconds, then pull it out. It's as simple as that.

Get the AI Duster Adaptor. Then you can dill it just like any other GBB that uses propain.

Man... AEG stands for Automatic Electric Gun (the key word being ''electric'')...

All of the info you read in the FAQ was about GBB magazines, like yours. Not AEGs.

Based on my reading, your HFC pistol should only be gassed with HFC143a (Duster), so instead of buying a propane adaptor (which is what I'd usually recommend), you should buy a Duster Adaptor from ASC Armoury.

Wrong. Duster will not cycle the HFC metal slide because it is too heavy, propane is the only option.

Thanx for all the replies.

Is there anyway to make an adapter, or use something that doesn't cost $30 + shipping for using a regular propane tank?

Sure am glad I stated it wasn't first hand knowledge
Thanks for the info, Amgoosen.

Sorry, (I think it’s) wrong again.
It’ll cycle it, just not quickly, and only lobs the shot. One of the reviews found on the gun was using 134a as a tester- which worked, yet the reviewer stated that ‘it was obviously meant for Green’.
Great gun, though- I’ve only used it on Green through mine so far, and it works like a charm.

Correct me if I’m wrong, sorry if that was misleading. Simply stating what I found.
