i Suppose you're not using the KSC M11A1, which usually doesnt have this issue. I been told the M11A1s work much better on duster vs propane as well, but I have the same problem on my HFC and it never happens on my KSC. Try Lubing the sucker up good, should help ALOT on these guns. Especially on the piston and the top part of it ..plus lubing the magazine wouldent hurt. the M11s don't fire the same way as regular GBBs *it fires open bolt..* which makes feeding and cycling more complicated than it has to be I think.
Edit: the retaining spring for the part of the hammer that strikes the magazine valve is horribly thin, and i finally figured it out after 2 M11A1s.
Replace it with a thicker one and some of the misfiring issues should go away :-D :-D
the problem with the stock one is that it gets weak or breaks like mine and stops pushing the striking piece down, which causes it to swing up and hit nothing instead of go straight right into the valve when the bolt piece pushes it. Doesnt seem like much of a problem on 1st or 2nd shots but remember the M11a1 fires F***ING fast! and it might go out of allignment at any cycle which explains why mine fires different length bursts all the time and stops chambering new bbs. Funny but i think a good number of the M11A1's problems are because of this crappy little spring before the bolt breaks perhaps :P I'll grab some pics ASAP to get my point across
