USR-11 in an M24 stock?

Allright, If I was somehow to get a CA M24 stock (HS Precision), would I be able to sit my USR-11 reciever into it? Maybe with modification? Thanks alot. -Nate

So you want to put a 200$ rifle in a 300$ stock?

I got my CA M24 for 550ish at Anderson & Anderson, give it a try!

Not into bolt-action any more. But I heard the CAs had alot of issues, so I wanted the reliability of a VSR-10 (same thing) in the M24 stock, because I prefer the Army over the Marines.

The fact that this makes zero monetary sense does not matter to you?

It's like putting a wing/spoiler on a tricycle.

Just a question. Where is the mag on the USR-11? Is it directly infront of the trigger guard? If so, it probley won't work without a lot of mods done since the m24's mag is farther down the stock. But if the USR-11 is based on a M700, the stock will probley fit but you won't be able to put a mag in.

I was going to move the mag well closer to the trigger guard and fill the extra space with epoxy.I was talking to Yick Fung? industrial, and they didnt seem opposed to selling me the stock seperatly, and that was the biggest hurdle to building this rifle, but bolt-action seems to be a bit dissapointing, so I am going to attempt a Bushmaster rifle.

AEGs are disappointing at times for long range accuracy. Is why I lug my M24 along with me 90% of the time. CA M24 is fine as long as you are careful, and pre-emptive fixes cause less problems. Admit though, the CA M24 stock is brutal, solid and heavy, you could beat a tree with it! Is why I never got an APS2 or VSR, focused all my attenion on my M24, it's a sweet ass'd thing now, 200+ accurate (within a foot or two of point of aim) range and almost 16lbs with scope and bipod. Not for prissy's I'll say, especially as an occasional long range back up gun!

And you are going to machine the thing as well? Buy a M24. Period.

How much was Yick Fung willing to sell the stock separately for?

Yup, bolt-actions will be beat any aegs accuracy, and because they are allowed to use stronger springs they will outrange an aeg as well. I will probably move onto bolt-actions too, when I am used to the flight path of a bb, but as my first gun I would like a semi-auto aeg to get used too.

I am not a machinest myself, but I will be starting in september, so if I waited until then I would machine it, maybe use a mill to drill out the outline, then sand away until its a rectangle.I would take out all of the mag well components and then start hacking away, until the space matched the reciever, then I would mock it up and see how much area I would have to epoxy. Yick Fung didnt give me a price, but Im sure they would sell it for a lot less than HS-Precision would, so that would be the best choice. Remember this is on hold, until I have the money and am interested in bolt-actions.

Yes, I do check. It avoids aggravation.
This is also the guy who told Lisa to essentially fuck-off. What do you think my level of helpfulness is at?
He can go away until he's 18. He lost the basic privilege to get any help from this place.
