What kind of charger are you using? Helps if you give more info, like what is the output on the charger in voltage and Mah?

Your charger puts out 500mA per hour, will take you just over an hour to charge your battery (aka. 600mA per hour, mAh.)

Ok thanks a lot for your help.

Actually it'll take more like 3 to 4 hours. If it outputs 9vdc, this is barely above cell voltage and will likely drop to cell voltage during charge. Take that charger and throw it in the bush (seriously) as it will likely kill your battery due to overcharging.
Get a quality charger with peak level detection. Tey can be had for as little as $40 from a hobby shop.

what ?? so i cant use that charger???

I wouldn't. A 9vdc wall charger was really meant for budget R/C setups that use 7.2v batteries. A good charger means the difference between whether you're playing or sitting on the sidelines because you fried your battery the night before.
You get what you pay for. Nothing in airsoft is cheap, but $40 for a charger is almost free!!!

Don't use cheap battery chargers. Ever.
The difference in cost between a good charger and a bad one is usually about the same as one dead battery - there's no point risking it. |

Thats not true i phoned some people and they said to charge it for 1 hour and it wont wreck the batery... i think your lien man

Dude I just phoned a guy and he was like "wtf who is this??" and I was like "yo shut up"... and wait you're right, I'm lying.
But about the phone call or the battery charger? I won't say. |

Charge it for an hour and you MAY get enough charge to empty 1 or 2 mags. But hey who are we to know this intricate electrical stuff? I deal with batteries and chargers everyday in my work.
Maybe it's best if you just didn't listen to anyone and do what you want. Failure is the best teacher.

Who says the "input" is correct? If you understand how batteries charge and how chargers are made to accomplish optimal charging with reduced risk to the battery and your home, then it's an easy choice.
Batteries charge on a geometric scale with alot of required current when the battey is depleted and decreasing current as the battery becomes charged. This is not practical to employ with charger design to make it economical. So chargers are built with variable outputs for both current, voltage and some have square wave outputs with varying frequencies to help things along smoothly. Your charger does none of this and has no real way of detecting peak level, unless it uses a timer like Marui for their AEP's, but not likely. And with no way to detect peak level, overcharging and battery death are inevitable.
