G&P M249 Conversion Kit for V2 Gearboxes

Too bad it uses a V2 box instead of something a bit beefier.
But depending on the final price It still could be a good option for SAW gunners. Just have to take it easy on the FPS. |

The whole point behind a support weapon is to crank out plastic like a freaking fire hose. Version 2 gearboxes are among the most notorious for cracking and breaking, even reinforced ones. Unless this kit is significantly cheaper than the CA or STAR M249s I really fail to see where the market is.
Nonetheless, it's an interesting development and certainly nice to look at. That box mag looks very sharp indeed. |
