TM AUG - Max. battery/akku dimensions? [cm x cm x cm]?

Hi,
I am looking for the dimensions of the standard AUG battery/akku geometrical dimensions [mm x mm x mm]!?! I am not looking for voltage or capacity data. I have used the search but could only find voltage/capacity/power data.

Do you happen to know whether a 9.8 cm x 3.4 cm x 1.9 cm battery fits into the TM AUG if I remove or modify the plate that fixes the gearbox? Do I have to touch this plate at all?

It's a 11,1V 1200 mAh LiPo battery, avg. amp. 23 A.



I found the following dimensions on eBay (link to auction):

[...] Dimension: 4.95" x 1.38" x 0.67" or 12.5 x 3.4 x 1.7 cm. [...]

So this could possibly work out, but I am looking for a second opinion?!?

Got the LiPo battery today and it fits without any modifications being neccessary to the AUG. I am glad to have found an off-the-shelf 11,1 V / 1200 mAh, max. 24 Ampere battery, at last. Works great.

I'll post a review of my tuned TM AUG and my long time experience with the Poly Quest LiPo battery in due time.
