G&P M4 Commando problem

I just bought a new upgraded G & P M4 Commando. I put an 8.4volt 600Mah battery in it when I got home, just to test it, and it worked alright for about 10 shots. I could tell there was alot of strain on the battery for it to turn over the spring, but it still worked...

After 10 shots, it stopped shooting... The trigger jammed... But I put it on full auto and it released the trigger again. It was okay...

I tried shooting semi again, and this time it stopped for good. Only this time I could hear something clicking inside... I pulled out the motor, tried re-adjusting it, but I still just get the click... The batteries are both charged, and the exact same... It feels like somethings stopping the first gear from turning. The motors all good though... Its spinning...

I think its just a gear or something, but if anyone has any opinions at all, just let me know...

thanks,
Sherminator

your problem there is in the battery, G&P M4's seem to favoure the 9.6v batteries. I suggest finding one and trying that before blaming the problem on the internals. If a 9.6v battery works, i suggest the 9.6v 1700mah nun-chuck battery. that will fit perfectly into the handguard and 1700mah is more then enough for a full day of use.

That battery is definitely not sufficient. Remember, this is not a stock TM you're playing with here.

thanks

Thanks alot Prowler... that worked. I went and got someone to test a 9.6volt 1700 Mah nunchuck and it worked... I thought it was something else. And MAN, that extra 1.2 volts, 1100 Mah; really makes a difference!

So for anyone with any problems, the battery is probably the fix!

thanks,
Sherminator
