Revolver comparison, CO2 and gas, shells, Pegusus and Casyopea types
I?m a practical shooter, using pistols, rifles, shotguns even revolvers, shells type I like the most, so realistic and fun!
I had the shotguns comparison posted here years ago, now it?s time to share my revolver experiences for those who may wants to know more about, mainly on IPSC Actionair set up. Stay tuned!

Basic comparisons
This chart is in one, compare as the best of my knowledge, please correct me if mistaking or missing, thanks! *WG, ASG, Umarex, Rhino & KWA are all full metal structures (not the Umarex R8, the only plastic body in the list), I would say pretty solid and durable, they all metal shells models available in Canadian stores. The others models particularly Japanese models they are rare and hard to get in Canada. All the above models their trigger pull are so stiff out from the box, if you know how to tune it smooth, that would have a smoother trigger pull and last longer. Minimize the wear and tear a lot! Japanese made revolvers, very nice built in finishing and good for collection, most are in plastic body with metal internals, recommended using 134a gas, some are gas in grip, metal shells that shoot one bb each, Marushin is one of it. Other models gas in cylinder and shoot 12-24 rds with no shells, Tanaka is the one. They are light weight mostly and fragile, not durable and don?t last long, no parts support mostly. If you are using green gas or propane, that even shorten the life time and easy to get gas leak. Below two pictures are Japanese models: **pictures are from website/FB Using CO2 is more power and shoots loud, cartridge is stored inside grip, you may modify adapter to connect with HPA or CO2 tank. Using green gas one is less power and shoots like fart, gas also store in grip on most of the models, but Japanese has Pegusus model also, store 134a gas inside cylinder, load 10-24 bbs in cylinder with no shells reloading needed. Picture from Octagon Airsoft in HK, King Arms gas and CO2 revolver series, using shell .

Tanaka Casyopea system
Tanaka also has one Casyopea system, is gas and bb in shell, same like some shell ejected shotguns, gas and bbs all load into shell, refill gas and reload bb each use, a lovely collection piece. May not suitable for gaming.
*both pictures from website/FB

Shells
Shells are metal mostly, just loading single bb, some are in full plastic, coming with front loaded and rear loaded two kinds, and the Casyopea shell series that load bb and gas in one shell.
Front loaded shell not necessary to be tuned and shoots straight, the fps is about 320-350 in 5? barrel. The rear loaded one, it?s about 20-30fps higher than front loaded, but needs to be tuned to make it accurate. I don’t have a Casyopea system one, so no informations.

Shells from different models may not compatible
All the shells are almost the same overall length, but the rim may have different thickness, that could causing gas leak during firing or sticky cylinder rotation.
Different thickness on rim even the same ASG These are all moon clip models for ASG715 The far right shell is King Arms revolver, not fits ASG or Rhino This is the Dan Wesson full metal rear loaded shells, very nice finishing!
