Slide coverwont come off on KSC G18C Mag

How do you get that god forsaken slide plate off the bottem of the KSC glock 18c mag?

Pull part#234 up, located in front of the magazine. Then, slide the baseplate off.

Yeah, the latch in front. That damn thing hurts my nail everytime. :sad:
