CA M24 Piston Question

I know that there are 7mm and 9mm springs, but are there different size pistons or will any APS/M24 piston work.

Thanks

Cut to the chase and buy the Guarder PSS2 Ultra Light Aluminum piston plus the head. 7mm or 9mm spring guide is based upon the spring you choose to use. Generally (going by memory) up to a 130 spring will take a 7mm spring guide, and 140 and up is 9mm.

I already have that piston. I'm just wondering cause I'm putting in a Laylax 120sp and 7mm spring guide and wanted to know if it'll work with that piston.

Ah, should have mentioned that in your thread. Well, the smaller ID means a smaller OD by roughly the same amount, so because the 9mm ID spring fits in the piston nicely, you'll find about 2mm of looseness inside it. You won't kill anything from it, but check it out to see if it's fine. You could always find a plastic sleeve/tube to put inside the piston to take up some of the slack.
