LiPo lifespan
I was sitting in my office charging up my batteries for a game this weekend and it got me thinking ...
do Lipos have a lifespan or max amount of recharges they can take before dying as a unit? |

Yes they do. They have a maximum cycle count but this will vary depending on how you use and care for the batteries. If you use them in high discharge applications above their rating they will wear out faster and that's usually when they swell . Or if you don't use a good charger and the cells are all out of balance that kills them too

For airsoft use somewhere around 300-500 full cycles depending on a number of factors including storage, temperature, depth of charge, cell chemistry, capacity, C value, charge and discharge rate, etc.
