GBLS GDR15 - An honest review and comparisons
Feel free to ask me anything.
My review here: https://youtu.be/0ExGMQxGksc No, it doesn't replace your beloved AEGs. It's just a more realistic version of PTW with the amazing potential of a GBB-like recoil (with the recoil mods in my YouTube channel). I'd choose my GDR15 over a PTW, but would I choose my GDR15 over an AEG? It depends. AEGs nowadays are pure BB blasters designed to "spray" tons of BBs on your opponents with just one trigger pull. Nothing can beat an AEG in that aspect, but if you are looking for realism and hate to carry 6 brick-like gas mags running ups and downs, you might want to take a look at GDR15 for: 1. NO cool-downs 2. Low-maintenance 3. Super light-weight mags 4. GBB-like recoil can be achieved (watch this before you call me BS: https://youtu.be/3_aJzyoVULo) Yes, it is fieldable and fun. Anyone says it doesn't because of the bad reviews from the youtuber Brainexploder's, please check his latest updates of this gun. The accuracy is very good and I have a video to prove in my channel (50m test) You can also check BADABING's reviews on YouTube, he has done a detailed review months ago, and he just did a comparison video last week (GDR15 vs. GHK), very action-packed and worth watching! The only con: Expensive. Well, if you compare it to an ordinary AEG, yes, it is insanely expensive. When you compare it to a PTW? They have very comparable pricing actually. GDR15 also becomes less expensive when you compare it to a fully modded TM NGRS with the specter/Titan mosfet and all Laylax internals installed. Finally, check how sexy it is in motion: https://youtu.be/TC9aCL--Xa8 Last edited by porch20000; February 13th, 2019 at 07:28.. Reason: Wordings |

Good review, nice to hear about less mainstream platforms.

I've test fired one. The recoil is really astonishing. I have a TM recoil shock and I was blown away. Something else to mention is the trigger-pull feels very close to real steel.

Can this take real steel rails? I’m looking at purchasing one to replace my now illegal AR15.
Also, can it take real steel muzzle devices? I don’t want the orange tip. |

You could put RS rails/stocks/grips/etc. WE GBBRS, GHK GBBRS, MWS GBBR's.
Flash hiders you cannot unless you re-thread it though. Just depends what you want I suppose |

I’m torn between the TM NGRS, VFC and this. All very different I know. I do plan on getting a TM MWS for indoors and training. Just don’t know which AEG route I should go. |

TM MWS is an excellent choice - not as realistic internally (uses their own ZET system) ; charging handles can't be used with RS, bit more accurate stock, so you give up realism for better performance. GHK M4 is an excellent choice as well - realistic for the most part, FCG is similar setup on a real AR lower. Modding charging handles take minimal effort to get working properly. Trigger is more crisp then the MWS, MWS is a bit squishy, and a lot of take. For an AEG AR - we would all recommend you get a VFC AEG, full stop. |

for a budget though I love my We M4s, never had any major issues that couldnt be sorted on field. and those that needed more substantial work to get onto the field where well documented.
my only real issue with WE is hop up adjustment, AEGs have spoiled me, its so easy to adjust a AEG hop up. |
