In their selection of products, if they dont state that the gun is full metal or like metal barrel and slide, that means they dont have full metal parts or metal barrel and slides right? But why is it that the pictures in Tokyo Marui looks really metal, and they are also as expensive as other gunz tat state "full metal". Not only that, but in Double Edge products, they dun even state if a gun is full metal or not, but the same brand and gun on 007 airsoft states its full metal. sooo W.T.F.?

also, the Western Arms guns, in weight and cost, loooks like their full metal, but no website state that. even in the pics, it looks 100% metal. I dun realli trust pics tho.

So you questions is why do people not put more descriptive descriptions on their webpages? If so and your really not sure, its pretty dang easy to email them and ask. Or even a simple search, I say simple but for some it is apparently difficult.

Also, most people have already researched which guns they want/like, and know the details as to whether a certain manufactuer makes a full metal gun or not, therefore the retailers should not really need to waste their time listing so. I see this is your first post, so it's entirely possible you just have not found the search and FAQ's yet.

You may get flamed by some for the posting but I'll answer the best I can since this information will be difficult to look up.

Most of the sale website presume that you know what you are buying and the details around the purchase. Ie. Look up reviews for each gun before buying and remember the retailers are selling bone stock guns from the manufacturer. Some guns will say full metal but if not posted presume they are stock plastic.

The TM guns are expensive because of the quality of the guns. They are most likely plastic as I don't believe TM makes any real metal guns. They look like metal because the manufacturing is real good.

My suggestion is if you are interested in a particular Airsoft gun google reviews of the weapon first and read carefully, most reviews mention the content of metal in the guns reviewed.

When you're spending $400-$1000+ for Airsoft make sure you do the research first, don't expect the retailers to tell you everything since they have 100's of different items to worry about.

P.S. Eventually you'll realize that Airsoft is more costly then real steel.

Tokyo Marui AEGs and GBBs are mostly plastic in construction, aside from the M14 and Thompson, which sport a good portion of Metal. Barrels are always metal tho.

As for other companies out there (G&G, G&P, ICS, Classic Army...) they mostly always offer a metal body with their products, which explains the high cost.

As for GBBs, WesterArms are not exactly metal.. they are usually a hard version of resin for frame and sometimes for slides as well.

The best way to know is to ask with the retailer directly, your question here is rather vague, but i hope i could answer it somewhat.

Also, a very good way to learn about this would be to show up at a local game and ask around, i'm sure you'll find plenty of players willing to answer your questions and show you their inventory.

Airsoft guns are not just for collecting. The interesting part is that with proper protection, you can play with/against other people.

Continue searching, there is an entire section of this forum that says where and when the games and meetings are.

As said, please avoid using shortened words.

Read a lot.

People will respond in a much more positive manner if you use appropriate English/French. Understanding grammar/spelling, and the applications thereof in a dboard atmosphere does not make one a nerd. Consider the utilization of proper spelling/grammar as a constant advertisement that yes, you are a bright and educated fellow/gal.

Otherwise when you type 4ll l33t 4nd th1nk j00 4r3 h3lla c00l - then the flaming starts.

Actually, I think they both work...

er... only some of your words are shortened, some are the same length, and others are longer... :smack:
Its shorter to write "noe", no.
And "wordz" is just as long if you write words.
And you know, it just makes it that much easier to read when you spell properly.
The two things that piss me off the most are when people type like that, and when they use smilies to substitute text over MSN.
