Nice wife. I don't think the M-14 is a serious contender for the most popular gun. Its current surge in popularity is just loud and in your face, reflecting its newness and refined taste. Most people who bought a M-14 probably already have a M-16/4/whatever. I don't think any gun can challenge Crapalites in terms of sheer numbers, with the exception of maybe the MP5. As much as I hate to admit it, the flexibility and abundance of after factory parts for Armalites make it probably the best choice.

M-16 and MP-5 series are obviously most popular, but I think with more companies making AK varients, such as Classic Army and UTG, they are up-and-coming. As for the M-14s, they will remain a small yet interesting catagory.

Based in the atlantic area I would say Armalites first, then AK, and then MP5 and bullpup are tied.
Note: These results are not accurate I just took a wild guess. Also Sell your windmill stocks. Invest in oil. |

The AR series is the classic north american rifle, and will always be.The AK well..is just a classic rifle. The m14 is damn popular for a few reasons.1-very classic 2-brand new marui release 3-It seems that everyone and there brother wants to be a sniper in airsoft. Most fail to realize that it takes more then just lying in the grass shooting folks from thick cover.

M4 FTW. Not because I like 'em, just because they're so popular.
