G&P M4A1 vs G&G GR16 Carbine

Ok I've done some searching on the forms, but anything I could find was kind of old. I'm sorry for posting topics about what gun I should get but when i'm spending 650 bucks I want to be sure yah know?

From what i've read G&G had lots of problems with their "First batch" of guns. Since then they have fixed a majority of the problems and are almost or are on par with TM guns.

I don't know anything about G&P, other than i'd have to wait over a month to get an G&P M4A1.

What is the differance between these guns? Is it worth the wait? Or should I go pick up a G&G and forget G&P ever existed. If this has been posted before please send me a link so I can read that thread

I'd choose a CA over either, but if limited to the two only I'd go for the G&P. Heard a lot less bad about them versus the G&G, although one must admire the latter's commitment to customer service.

Ok, I can answer this one for you.

1) G&P has THE best quality internals of any stock aeg available in Canada. They have some issues related to assembly as they use parts with tight tolerances and samll assembly errors that may not be noticed on other guns WILL be noticed on a G&P.

2) G&G uses Marui quality parts and rarely gives you anything more than that. They too have issues with assembly, but unfortunately this leads often to expensive repairs.

both guns give you full metal bodies, but the quality on G&P is just so much better. G&P usually has a beefier spring installed, so you will need a larger battery that may not be easily available. If you saw both guns side-by-side, you would see what I mean. If they were even money, i would chose the G&P hands-down. I've worked on several from both makers and I've got to see them inside and out. Apparently the new "LR" series from G&G is supposed to be much better than the previous versions, but I haven't seen one yet to give you the straight goods on those.

Ok that helps a lot guys thanks. I found a G&P at Spec Arms. I'll pay the extra shipping so I can get it sooner than march. Its 30 bucks cheaper then I thought anyways. Thanks for the help
