Have you used these smoke grenades?

Hey guys. I found some 3 minute smoke grenades from kaboom fireworks for a bout $10 each. Wondering if any of you have used them in the past. If so are they any good and are they internal burn?

Thanks a million.

This looks, and functions very similar to a smoke grenade I've used. And honestly, I'd say if it's the same thing, don't bother with it. The smoke is not very thick, and the grenade is prone to just burning out (ie: it'll burn for 30 seconds, but then stop).

By far, the best smoke grenades are still the naval (orange) smokes that you see used. I bought two grenades that are similar to the one you pictured (for $12 each), and I won't be buying those again.

Those are the Hands smoke generators that use an ammonium chloride based composition. Decent for making smoke effects, not so good for actually concealing something or someone. Too low of an output and the particle density is too light. They're also prone to starting fires.

If you're looking for good smokes, see my sig.

These type of smokes are quite common in Ontario games. Not very effective, but fun to use from time to time. Only place it's good for (IMO) is in the Drug Lab @ Flag Raiders. *lol*
