G&G SR25 (GR25)

Seems the G&G SR25 is out for sale.

http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...GG-AEG-GR25STD

Esthetically it looks pretty nice. Ofcourse you have the G&G trades on it and supposedly it only shoots 260-280 like a stock TM gun which seems a bit strange considering most G&G releases are higher.

But the intriging parts are the gun is semi-auto only. selector has only 2 positions safe and semi.

But the other thing advertised is a working bolt catch. I can't seem to find any info about this feature though.

Seems like that have done more then the G&P version (bolt catch)

It does say version 2 gearbox in the link there. Looks like there would be some extra room in that body though. Wonder if there would be enough space to store a battery in the roof of the body. Or a sandwich.

I've been wanting a SR25 for quite some time but the G&P reviews have been next to non-existant. Perhaps the G&G version will get more reviews? I can hope.

The semi only feature is a big factor in my decision to purchase one. The 50rnd low profile magazine is a nice feature. It being a fair bit cheaper then the G&P one is a BIG plus.....

yes, the new version of g&p is also not really good... it has a long gearbox... you won't find any good upgradparts... no systema or prometheus or stuff like it... only g&p... this will not be strong enough for 450 fps...

the price of the g&g is very nice!

I wish they didn't put any trademarks on it.
