AEP
So, I play a lot of CQB and really want a CQB based AEG. I'm thinking of getting an AEP such as the VZ61, whether it be Well or TM. Does anyone sell this in Canada as I know it would be impossible to import lol
What other AEP's would be good CQB weapons or AEG? Would want a really small gun just for general purpose to have fun and rush.

AEPs generally suck.
due to the design of the tiny gearbox, aftermarket parts are hard as hell to come by. I know few people have had success fielding them. some people end up going the HPA route for them. |

AEPs are great for CQB, their low power makes them super safe and you don't have to bother with a MED. Parts are not that rare, lots of upgrade parts exist, mainly from Laylax and PDI. Recently, a lot of 3D printed parts are being made available on shapeways from quite a few different people : https://www.shapeways.com/marketplace/?tag=aep
Any AEP will work in CQB. With that said, quite a few other AEGs will also work great. The first really short AEGs to come to mind are the venerable MP5K, but more recently there's also the Echo 1 GAT and the Spectre RPD. Of course, there's tons of other choices, the AKS74U works great, as does the Sig 552 or the gazillion of short barreled armalites.

The G&g ARP9 is fun and loud, but have proprietary mags.
MP5s are also a great choice, standard v2 GB, can be very small, lots of aftermarket stuff. When I first started I also though about AEPs but the difficulty in getting one combined with the ultra low fps and the fact that there is basically no aftermarket for them eventually turned me away

Try a PDW, the up side is that they use standard M4 mags.

personally, I use either my hpa uzi, g33, gg tm glock 17 with roni kit, hk417 (short barrel version), or my dan Wesson revolver with 3-6 shot shells (awesome for cqb and room clearing lol), I have been toying with the idea of getting a Daytona mp5 recently as well
