Fast helmet and pads

Hey guys I have a fat head and my Fast Helmet with factory pads just fits.
Pads are a bit too hard (who makes pads out of styrofoam) looking for a softer set or a set with straps as the factory straps do not sit on my chin they sit under it.

Any suggestions or ones to stay away from?

See a lot of people talking about Team Wendy on YouTube reviews of helmets and the modifications they've done. No experience with them personally.

They are a little pricey, anyone tried the rothco straps and some soft pads?

I have the same problem
I got my hands on a ton of closed cell foam and will be working on mine in the next week or two.

The team Wendy basic straps are a decent price. Anyone know if they are available in Canada for a normal price?

All of the Rothco gear I've been exposed to has been of middling low quality. Not terrible, but still below moderate quality.

That said, I only have experience with their hats, some LBE and BDU/ACUs. Haven't dealt with helmet padding/straps. Maybe they're fine (?).

There is a Condor padding set I'm pretty sure that's like $20-$30

Have you or anyone else ordered from this site before? Or has anyone bought this helmet in country?

I purhased the helmet a few months back from the protech site. Better quality and comfort than my airsoft depot knock off from a Several years ago, not sure how it compares to a newer Emerson type repro. In order to fit a norotos nvg mount I had to file down the lower portion of the mounting hole a bit. Once it does fit tho, feels very secure.
I live in mississauga if u ever wanted to swing by and have a look at it before committing to the purchase.. overall, for the price I paid once everything was converted and shipped, I was a little disappointed with the finish, but Since I was planning to paint it regardless it wasn't such a big deal.

Oh, on a side note, this helmet is not actually a pro-tec branded helmet according to their customer service rep, but neither is the PT bravo helmet (according to her). Seems like it's just another knock off or rebrand of the rothco advanced tactical helmet.

How long did it take to get your helmet? Mines been on order for almost 3 weeks, they've not shipped anything yet, and I don't think my card was charged.

They were extremely slow to get it processed and shipped out, few weeks if I remember correctly. apparently they were taking care of a large military order that had priority, once it did ship it was pretty quick though, within a week.

Okay, so pretty much what I figured. I've seen a few other online posts that say similar things. Hopefully it won't be too much longer...

Just ordered one of the PT helmets from that site. Fingers crossed it goes well, but I've had enough of the airsoft depot style buckets. I'll update when it arrives and give some thoughts also. If any of the others who ordered had them shipped yet ?

I asked PT yesterday, and was told my helmet will ship next week.
So that's about a month and a half from order to shipment.
